Moving along

Obama the builder a little more complete.  But unless I can figure out a certain technique I want to do then he is pretty much done.  But if anyone has any suggestions I would LOVE to hear them.

What technique are you trying to learn?

I was wanting to make the colors look more like they are bleeding into each other like water color. So far I haven't been able to do it successfully.

I'm assuming you tried overlaying with the "multiply" function? When using watercolor you are just putting a wash over each stroke. "Multiply" might mimic that technique. Also remember with watercolor, you tend to push a darker color to the edge of the stroke because that is where the pooled up paint dries. Emulating that may be difficult unless you use the layers to throw washes of paint down.

I get the watercolor look with prismacolor markers then using multiply and overlaying color after scanning the work in.

Lesley can get an oil paint like look, I'm sure there is a way we can figure out how to get a watercolor look.
